In our English Physics group we have been learning about calculating speed using a special formula: v = x/t (v = speed; x = distance travelled; t = time taken). We have been practising some English word problems using this formula and have learned about making conversions between units of measurements (e.g. metres and kilometres and minutes and seconds).
This week we started working with graphs and how different speeds can be shown on a graph (e.g. a steady speed, an accelerating speed or standing still). We are also writing a story using some of the new vocabulary that we have learned!
